Betsy is an American-born abstract artist who was raised in the Midwest, but has lived her adult life on the West Coast and for several years now in Texas. Through the years she has taken the opportunity to study and explore different techniques and concepts throughout her work. Betsy’s diverse background and experiences have helped shape her perspective and practice as a self-taught painter.

Betsy’s work has been featured in various exhibitions around Central Texas, and her bird prints and originals can be found at Blue Sky Art on Wheels gallery in Dripping Springs. She painted her first public art piece in Taylor, Texas in 2021 and her Birds of Texas series are currently part of a public art exhibit in downtown Round Rock.
